About a year a go Seattle based Black Rock Spirits introduced there bacon flavored vodka.  For 2010 we now have the Smoke Salmon Flavor Vodka!  Its a subtle shift from sweet to savory.  Alaska Distillery came up the idea, to enhance cocktails such as the Bloody Marry, after 47 attempts and a large spew bucket, they finally came up with the right consistency  on the 48th try.
If your not from Alaska you may not understand the passion that has gone in to a vodka such as this.  Makes sense.  But I would be game …
